Gurgly

Gurgly is brought to you by Jane Joyce and Rosie Granger who re-introduced the glug jug to the UK market in 2009 when working with Wade Ceramics and created the brand name Gluggle Jug. When Wade went into adminstration in 2022, we decided to offer a new version and create the very best product we could. We wanted to develop a more contemporary shape and offer the jug in new attractive colours, whilst retaining the traditional look of the product. This type of fish jug has been produced by many different potteries and in many different countries for over 150 years, and ours is the newest version of an historical product.

We were delighted to find an amazing ceramics company, in a centre of excellence in Portugal, to make our product exclusively for us. They manufacture, using handcrafted, traditional methods whilst embracing modern technology, and with a strong ethos and belief in sustainability. The talented and experienced team is all about commitment and nothing is 'too much trouble'.

Gurgly are proud to offer the largest glug jug on the market at 1.4 litres and also have  Small and Mini versions.   Recently, we have introduced 5 new exciting colours in blue/green tones. 

NEW to the Gurgly collection are the Large and Small fluted Etoile bowls which complement the jug colours. The Large bowls are great for salads and puddings and the small ideal for nibbles or cereal.
