Love Coco

We Love Eco started trading in 2022 mainly selling colour lacquered coconut bowls and have been, and still are, hugely popular.  With our experience of weekly events and street markets, we have a good handle on what does and doesn’t work.

We were delighted to have been recognised by The Giftware Association for our Love Coco Coconut Bowls, by being awarded Gift of The Year 2023 in the Ethical and Sustainable Gift category.

Since then, we have expanded our range to over 130 SKUs, remaining true to the ethical and sustainable category of gifts and homeware.  Notable additions include our range of Mother of Pearl, rattan trays.  Using waste from the oyster farms in Vietnam and sustainable palm for the rattan, these trays are both unique, practical and beautiful to look at.  Since launching this range, those companies that have stocked it have done very well.

Sustainability

We are very focused on sustainability, so with that in mind, we have partnered up with 2 companies. 

www.onetribeglobal.com, where we offset carbon by protecting pristine rainforest.  17p per online sale saves 10m2 of rainforest.  We have sequestered 300 tons in a few months.  We will roll this out for offline sales once that integration is available. 

We also invest in reforesting projects which are more than just replacing trees, but holistic projects in Mozambique, Uganda etc, helping communities rebuild. We have planted 850 trees and funded 2 projects www.ecologi.com/lovecoco

Good Governance.

We are committed to running an ethical business as much as we are committed to ethical and sustainable trading.  We run all our decisions by a code of practice.  We recognise we can’t be perfect but we at least we know we have tested all decisions by that code.

We are members of The Living Wage Foundation, The Giftware Association and The Good Business Charter.

We are also proud members of the BAFTS UK Fair Trade Network.
