Hi there! I am Samantha and I live in Worthing on the south coast of England where I create wildlife inspired gifts, homewares and stationery. Nestled between the South Downs national park and the sea, inspiration comes in from everywhere. I live here with my husband where we love to walk in the South Downs, swim in the sea and walk our rescue pup.
Wildlife inspired illustrations
Inspired by the wonderful wildlife we have on our planet, I create a range of patterns and illustrations that reflect the beauty that surrounds us. I have always been in love with the traditional methods of painting. One of my favourite types of paint to use is watercolours. I love to layer and how delicate my art can be by using this type of medium. Once I have created motifs ready for pattern design, I then scan everything in and use Adobe Photoshop to create my patterns. This is my favourite part of the process as I get to unleash my style.
My strive to create a greener business
I try to think ‘green’ with every part of the business. This includes making conscious decisions about the materials, processes and the packaging I use. I use zero plastic and I recycle where I can. It is my mission to do everything that I can to help the planet.
Made in the UK and designed in Worthing
All of my wildlife and nature inspired designs are created in my studio in Worthing by me. I then use wonderful UK manufacturers and local seamstresses to turn my creations into products that bring joy to everyone. I want to support British manufacturing and other local businesses.
