Founded by David Cowan in 1962, the company was originally focussed on giftware and the development of award-winning salt and pepper mills. The business has continued to be family owned and expanded its product offering to include premium dining, kitchen, and tableware. 
 
In recent years they have created their quintessentially British brand ‘The English Tableware Company’ which has seen the Bee Happy Design receive an ‘Excellence in Housewares Award’ and a more recent design ‘Pressed Flowers’ recognition as being ‘So on Trend’.   

David Mason Design also works with Ashley Thomas to bring her quirky range of homeware products to market.
