New Wholesale Offering After Gift of the Year Awards 2024 Commendation Success

Gardening for Kids Ltd Stand: B-A42
New Wholesale Offering After Gift of the Year Awards 2024 Commendation Success

Gardening for Kids, a small family business specialising in gardening products exclusively for children, will be launching two new ranges of its eco-friendly, best-selling Children’s Complete Growing Kits to wholesale buyers for the first time. Grow Something Different includes an array of unusual plants to intrigue and delight, while Micro Greens Heads delivers a new take on well-loved favourites. This launch follows a successful first year in the wholesale market, as well as the company’s continuing strides in the e-commerce retail environment.

“We are thrilled that our first wholesale growing kits met with such success, and are delighted to expand our offering with more ranges, designed as ever, especially for children”, said Louise Edgeworth, Owner and Director of Gardening for Kids. “We are immensely proud that our complete growing kits are highly commended by the Gift Association, and hope this recognition will help us reach more and more children and get them growing.”

Gardening for Kids will be making its second appearance at the Home and Gift Buyers Festival this year in Harrogate, UK. There they will showcase their newest wholesale ranges, Grow Something Different and Microgreenies, as well as last year’s favourites and Gift of the Year finalists. These new ranges include the best-selling black dragons, dancing mimosas and quirky cucamelons, as well as tasty and nutritious kale, radish, and pea shoots.

All kits contain a peat-free coir compost disc, a colourful bamboo pot made from recycled chopsticks, top-quality seeds from UK suppliers, and full instructions. Louise explains that parents often lack confidence in gardening (“I can’t even keep grass alive!”), so these simple and reliable kits are designed to educate and empower children and their parents to learn together.

With these new launches, Gardening for Kids hopes to expand its influence in the wholesale market alongside its other key business areas, e-commerce and direct-to-schools supply. Together, it is hoped these complementary approaches will help Gardening for Kids reach more and more children and novice gardeners to get them growing for the first time.
