Julie Childs has worked as a glass artist and designer since 1986.
She began her career as a glass engraver before introducing colour in to her work
in the form of a special glass paint.

Julie has previously designed glass ranges for H.M. Tower of London,
St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Hampton Court Palace.
She currently stocks retail outlets throughout Scotland, Northern England,
Orkney Isles and the Outer Hebrides.

Julie is originally from Somerset, but has spent many years travelling and living in
various beautiful locations such as the Norfolk Broads, Orkney Isles, a narrowboat on the
River Thames, also staying at many stunning places in Scotland in her caravan,
and has now settled in a lovely flat near the River Clyde at Port Glasgow.
She is constantly inspired by wild beautiful scenery, flowers, rivers and seas,
and all the vibrant colour combinations that Mother Nature creates for us.

Every piece of glass is individually designed and hand-painted by Julie
and embellished in a gold liner to detail and enhance the design.

Streaming sunlight or ambient candlelight shining through the
