Edge Sculpture - Sculpting Yuna the Lioness - Part 1

Edge Sculpture Hall: Hall M Stand: M-C20
Edge Sculpture - Sculpting Yuna the Lioness from The Big Cat Sanctuary

The Sculpting Journey by Matt Buckley - Part 1 of 3 parts.

A three-part film where Matt has recorded the entire process of sculpting an Edge Sculpture piece in clay from start to finish.

Edge Sculpture is a range of hand cast and hand painted modern statement pieces for the home, sculpted by Matt Buckley in his studios in Shropshire.

Yuna, is a young Lioness rescued from the War in Ukraine by The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent. She is among five traumatised lions saved by The Big Cat Sanctuary through their Big Cats in Crisis campaign.

In collaboration with The Big Cat Sanctuary, Matt Buckley from Edge Sculpture has sculpted a bust of Yuna in clay, a meticulous journey which has been documented in three videos.

The sculpture will then proceed through Edge Sculpture's precise mould making and casting processes before being skilfully hand-painted. The pieces will then become available to purchase through The Big Cat Sanctuary themselves and through other Edge Sculpture stockists.

A proportion of the proceeds of every purchase of a Yuna the Lioness bust will go to The Big Cat Sanctuary in their efforts to not only support Yuna but all big cats in crisis.

Each piece will be signed by Matt Buckley from Edge Sculpture, individually numbered and accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
