Tell us about yourself and your brand. How long have you been in business?
The business was established in 1919 by Joe Davies and after over 100 years under the stewardship of the Davies became an employee owned business in January 2024. We are an importer and distributor of over 10,000 gift items, all available in small quantities, perfect for the independent retailer.
How did your company begin?
Founded in 1919 by Joe Davies as a Hardware and Fancy Goods Distributor, the business became employee owned in 2024.
The company has grown and gone through many changes, but it has retained its core traditional values of outstanding service and a focus on looking after its customers, always maintaining that personal touch.
Could you share details about any new collections or ranges you’ll be showcasing at the show?
We will be launching 2000+ brand new additions to our collection at the fair including brand new additions to our Best selling Village Pottery collection, hundreds of new lines from the Equilibrium range of boxed jewellery and much more! Our new pantry pots range looks set to be a winner!
Do you have any personal favourites in your latest collection?
With over 2000 brand new lines launching at the fair it is hard to pinpoint one collection. We have so much to choose from! However I do love the Gentleman Joe range of desk toys and more. Men's gifts are such a hard category to fill and these really hit the mark!
What are you most looking forward to at the show?
As always we are looking forward to meeting customers, old and new, and providing them with the best possible service.
Have there been any highlights for you over the past year that you’d like to mention?
Harrogate is always one of the highlights of the gift calendar and there are so many memories. One particular stand out is when we launched the Snoozies collection back in 2013 - the buzz around the stand and enthusiasm of our customers really let us know we had a winner. Sales remain strong for the collection today after more than 12 years!
What’s next for your company? 
Joe Davies will continue to innovate new products and we look forward to continue providing our customers with great products, available in small quantities at great prices backed up by the best service in the business.
