Introduction about your brand
Brainstorm Ltd is a leading provider of educational toys. We are dedicated to creating high-quality products that not only educate but engage young minds with fun and absorbing toys that provide hours of play.

What are your top products this year/set for 2020?

This year we have launched EUGY which we exclusively distribute in the UK on behalf of New Zealand brand Dodoland. EUGY is an innovative craft toy that is actually 100% sustainable and one which ticks many boxes for parents looking for eco-friendly alternatives.

Could you tell us about your latest collections/ranges?

EUGY is an eco-friendly craft collectable that allows children to create their own 3D models using environmentally friendly, biodegradable card each printed with natural eco-friendly non-toxic inks. The simple numerical sequence assembly belies the intricate creations children can make – a collection of cute animals and creatures including dinosaur, panda, elephant and more. Children can collect them all and enjoy the fun educational facts accompanying each model. The range launched in January with 10 different SKUs and three more will be available from August including Giraffe, Clownfish and Llama. A free-standing CDU is available to display product to full effect incorporating a ready-made model so customers can see the finished product.

Any big trends you’ve spotted for 2020/2021?

The trend for more unique eco-friendly toys that reduce plastic where possible will continue with companies also not only looking to create innovative sustainable toys and gifts but also reducing waste from packaging too. We think more streamlined pared back packaging will be used across the sector.

What makes your company stand out from the rest?

Over the last few years we have worked to establish the Brainstorm brand and now are synonymous with educational products which is no mean feat within a crowded sector. Consumers know that they can trust our products to provide entertainment and education in a fun way and many of our products also come with online information about varying topics such as Space and Dinosaurs so children can continue their learning beyond the toy.

What can we expect from you at Home & Gift 2019?

EUGY is absolutely perfect for the Home & Gift sector and so customers can come and see how to create EUGY characters and see the full complement of products including a first look at the new lines within the range and new POS options.
