Behind the Brand Tweedmill Textiles

We are excited to invite Tweedmill Textiles to take part in our behind the brand feature so you can find out more about their latest ranges and what they have planned for the year ahead.
  1. Introduction about your brand
The Tweedmill Textiles brand has been established for over 45 years. We are renowned for our quality and creativeness. Situated in the historical town of Flint, we sit next to one of the castles that King Edward 1st built to help conquer Wales. Combined with the local woodlands, nature reserves and the River Dee our designs are influenced by the colours and stunning backdrops of North Wales.
We offer an extensive and colourful choice of key textile products consisting of throws, cushions and picnic rugs which complement our inspired accessories for ladies, gents and pets. Our products are produced from a core material range consisting of pure new wool, tweed and recycled wool.

  1. What are you top products this year
With the spring/summer months fast approaching, we are confident that our picnic and Cotswold collection will be a sunny sensation. Our picnic range offers a variety of products from walker companions to polo rugs and garden kneelers to eventers. Whether you are relaxing on the beach, walking the dog or planning a family day out, a Tweedmill product is a must. The Cotswold collection is a definite addition to any outside setting. Available in three complementary colours, ranging from comfy cushions to relaxing square poufs.

  1. Could you tell us about your latest collections/ranges?
We believe that our spring/summer 2019 collection is one of our best yet, it has been a much anticipated event to deliver, ensuring that yet again Tweedmill Textiles stands out from the crowd. Ink and glacier are our fresh new colours for the season, which we have successfully introduced through our Block Check, Festival, Fishbone 2 Stripe and Wafer patterns. The latest design to leap from the design table to our customer catalogue is Meadow Check, this exquisite check is available in four colourways including ink, it will added depth and luxury to any home.
Organic Herringbone cotton is a triumph with our customers so we have added our popular watermelon and striking yellow colours, very fitting with this time of the year, plus If you like bright and beautiful then the All Wool Herringbone and Multi-Check throw designs are for you.

We are also really pleased with success of our canine range, it is becoming a firm favourite with our two legged and four legged customers - to mark the occasion our development/design team have just introduced both a new product and new colour. Whippet collars are now all the rage in Tweedmill Textiles, offered in seven tweed patterns they are eye-catchingly practical.

As well as this Sunny days means one thing in Tweedmill……. PICNIC’S. No need to look any further, as we have it covered with our splendid picnic accessory range. The organic cotton mentioned earlier has been included in the walker companion collection, rug rolls have been ‘spring-cleaned’ with new colours, custard and parsley and garden kneelers have grown with the addition of our two new tweed fabrics. Our firm favourites, leisure rugs, polo’s and eventers are always available in various colourway choices, you only need to ask and we will deliver in time for the sun to get its hat on.

  1. Any big trends you’ve spotted for 2020/2021?
‘Coastal Scenery’ think ocean blues, sea greens with a splash of coordinating colours. We don’t want to give too much away but, we have some exciting changes within the Tweedmill brand which will be something to look out for next year.

  1. What makes you stand out from the rest?
Simple...Quality is woven into us. Tweedmill is a family run company offering striking textile products and our customers are our main priority. We aim to continue supplying an excellent service with a personal touch, ensuring that each and every one of our customers gets exactly what they want, when they want it.
